Celebrating St. Padre Pio Day with a Community Health Camp

In honor of the Feast of our Patron Saint, St. Padre Pio, we held a two-day community health camp at Padre Pio Hospital–Butozi on the 22nd and 23rd of September 2025. Guided by our mission “Nos Curamus, Deus Sanat” – We care, God heals – this camp was not only a celebration of faith but also an act of service to our community.
Over the course of the two days, our dedicated medical team and volunteers attended to more than 250 patients from Kyotera, Masaka, and the surrounding communities. Services included general consultations, maternal and child health checkups, laboratory investigations, and specialized care for vulnerable groups such as women, children, and the elderly.
The health camp provided a vital opportunity to reach out to those who often face challenges in accessing quality healthcare. It also reaffirmed our commitment to making Padre Pio Hospital a beacon of hope and healing for all.
We are deeply grateful to our partners, volunteers, and friends who made this event possible. Their selfless support reflects the spirit of St. Padre Pio, whose life was marked by compassion, humility, and service to others.
As we continue to grow as a health facility, we remain steadfast in our mission to serve the community with love and excellence, following in the footsteps of our beloved Patron Saint.
