Education is the most powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty. In rural Uganda, school fees, the cost of materials, and the distance to schools prevent thousands of children from accessing quality education. PAPIRUDEI exists to remove those barriers — one sponsored child at a time.
Over 500 Children Sponsored. 47 More Are Waiting.
Since 2010, PAPIRUDEI has sponsored over 500 vulnerable children across Kyotera, Masaka, Lwengo, and Rakai Districts, giving them access to quality schooling, learning materials, uniforms, and mentorship. Today, 47 children are on our waiting list. They have been selected. They are ready. They simply need a sponsor.
$15 per month sponsors one child for a full month — covering school fees, materials, and support. That is less than many people spend on a single meal, yet it can transform a child life completely.
What Your Sponsorship Covers
- School fees — keeping children enrolled and in class
- Learning materials — books, pens, exercise books, and supplies
- School uniforms — so every child can attend with dignity
- Mentorship and support — tracking progress and providing encouragement
- Emergency support — for families facing sudden hardship
Code Queens: Digital Education for Girls
As part of our education mission, PAPIRUDEI runs Code Queens — a program that teaches computer literacy and digital skills to adolescent girls in rural Uganda. In an increasingly digital economy, these skills open doors to employment and entrepreneurship that would otherwise remain closed. $50 funds one girl complete training program.
Sponsor a Child Today
47 children are waiting. Every month of delay is another month out of school. Donate today and give a child in rural Uganda the gift of education. You will receive updates on the impact of your support.
