The Padre Pio Youth Centre is a SAFE-Space that seeks to provide a platform where youth can share ideas, learn new skills, and have constructive use of their non-school or work time within Masaka and Kyotera Districts. The centre allows youth to connect with others who may be facing similar life experiences and challenges and as a consequence, leading to healing, empowerment, and resilience.

The centre’s aim is to promote holistic development among young people by providing a range of programs that will empower them to become responsible and productive members of society. The programs focus on Sports and Recreation, Career Guidance and Life Skills Training, Arts and Culture, Health Education and Counseling, Environmental Conservation, Technology and Innovation, Community Service, and Leadership Development (on a wider spectrum).
